4x9 Stories: this weekend

Each weekend the Manifesta 9 Mediation Department invites a number of special guests who give guided tours based on their own expertise. Whether it be a sociologist or a musician, a cook or a football player, one of our curators or one of the neighbours of our venue; each tour provides a new perspective on the exhibition.

Our guests this weekend / your hosts are:

Saturday August 11, 3pm Jee Kast

Jee Kast, city poet of Hasselt. Writes about everything to do with words and creative language; slam poetry and spelling errors, bad puns bad opening sentences ... and on a regular basisdramatic text and a real poem. 

Sunday August 12, 3pm Cemal Mozaikci  

Cemal Mozaikci, former miner from Genk of Turkish decent who dreamt of making a career for himself and who became a union man when the mines where threatened with closure.
