An ever changing mix of workshops, music, performances, lectures and more is on the menu during Manifesta 9. Check the agenda for all events, dates and times.
community
Manifesta Biennials are deeply embedded in their local context. The location of Manifesta 9 is an integral part of the project. With this in mind the Art Mediation department of Manifesta 9 has extended the concept of ‘Art Mediators’ to a new category of collaborators called ‘Community Mediators’. Before and during Manifesta 9 our Mediation Team worked closely with various community groups from the region of Limburg in order to gain insight into the particular social and cultural fabric of the former mining region and to embed Manifesta 9 in that vernacular. Manifesta 9 thus creates unique links between community, art and heritage. Read more about each of the Community Mediators projects as they develop on our weblog.
Custom Access
Look, participate and experience Manifesta 9. Our interactive programs can be tailored to the specific needs and capabilities of each person. At Manifesta we are committed to make our projects accessible to everyone. Together with the professional field we offer custom programs for people with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, learning difficulties and others. Please contact us for information on the possibilities for your group.
